At Aspen Beauty Academy – Laurel, we help you build the skills, creativity, and confidence to succeed in today’s beauty industry. Graduates are fully prepared for the Maryland State Board exam and ready to start rewarding beauty careers.

Taught in English, our program includes the following in various levels of detail:

• Hair Care & Design: Scalp care, hair color, perms, relaxers, haircutting, styling, keratin treatments, wigs, and hair additions.
• Skin Care: Facials, hair removal, and profesisonal skin care techniques.
• Makeup & Lash/Brow Artistry: Makeup application, eyelash and eyebrow tinting, classic lash extensions, lash lifts, and brow lamination.
• Nail Care: Manicures, pedicures, artificial nails, and UV gel nails.
• Professional Development: Social media marketing, Maryland State Board preparation, and business/career readiness.

• MUD Beauty Essentials: Maryland’s only MUD (Make-Up Designory) partner school. Earn your MUD Level I Make-up Artist Certificate.
• Sugarlash PRO Training: Certifications in Classic Lash Extensions, Lash Lifts, and Brow Lamination using the professional PRO Trio Kit.
• Dermalogica: Professional skincare training with industry-leading products.
• Wella Professional: Handson color training with Wella Educators plus official Wella certification.
• OPI: OPI certification in professional nail techniques and systems.

Our curriculum focuses on diversity and real-world readiness. You’ll learn techniques for all hair textures and types, gaining the confidence to serve any client in any salon. With expert instruction and real-client practice, you’ll graduate versatile, skilled, and in demand.
