At Aspen Beauty Academy – Laurel, our mission is simple: to help you build the skills, creativity, and confidence to excel in the ever-evolving beauty industry. Graduates are fully prepared for the Maryland State Board licensure and ready to launch rewarding beauty careers.

Our 1500-hour cosmetology program, taught in English, includes the following in various levels of detail:

• Hair Care & Design: Scalp care, hair color, perms, relaxers, haircutting, styling, keratin treatments, wigs, and hair additions.
• Skin Care: Facials, hair removal, and professional skin care techniques.
• Makeup & Lash/Brow Artistry: Makeup application, eyelash and eyebrow tinting, classic lash extensions, lash lifts, and brow lamination.
• Nail Care: Manicures, pedicures, artificial nails, and UV gel nails.
• Professional Development: Social media marketing for beauty professionals, Maryland State Board preparation, and business/career readiness.

• MUD Beauty Essentials: We are Maryland’s only MUD (Make-Up Designory) partner school. Our 84-hour MUD Beauty Essentials course is built into the program, earning you the MUD Level I Make-up Artist Certificate.
• Sugarlash PRO Training: Master in-demand lash and brow services with Sugarlash PRO certifications in Classic Lash Extensions, Lash Lifts, and Brow Lamination using the professional Sugarlash PRO Trio Kit.
• Dermalogica: Our Dermalogica partnership empowers students with top-tier skincare training using industry-leading products.
• Wella Professional: Access in‑school seminars and hands‑on training with professional Wella Educators plus earn your Wella certification.
• OPI: Achieve OPI certification to master professional nail techniques, access exclusive training resources, and enhance your beauty career.
