Curriculum

At Aspen Beauty Academy-Laurel, we are committed to delivering a superior education in a hands-on, supportive, and motivating environment. Our goal is to empower our graduates with the fundamental skills required to excel and thrive in the ever-evolving field of cosmetology, ensuring they are well-prepared for licensure and rewarding careers.

Our comprehensive education in basic cosmetology covers essential aspects of hair care, hair design, nail care, skin care, business management, career preparation, and compliance with Maryland State Board Regulations. Our program consists of 1500 clock hours of instruction delivered in English to adequately prepare students for the State Board of Cosmetologists examination.

Additionally, as a partner school of MUD (Make-Up Designory), we offer the MUD Beauty Essentials course, comprising 84 hours of instruction.
